Senior Casting Engineer (Investment Casting – Aerospace)
Ability to work on ITAR-restricted programs (US Person required).

We are partnered with a defense and aerospace innovator reinventing precision casting and factory operations with robotics and advanced data processing. They are restoring the industrial foundation that made America a beacon of innovation and progress. With a small, high-performing team, they are tackling mission-critical challenges in aerospace and defense.
Our client is seeking a Senior Casting Engineer to help build next-generation casting processes. You will take ownership across casting setup and design, process development, and troubleshooting, while setting the technical direction of advanced investment casting for aerospace applications.
You would work across highly sensitive aerospace and defense programs.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of experience as a product or process engineer in advanced casting processes.
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or similar (or evidence of exceptional ability).
- Familiarity with investment casting processes, best practices, and tooling.
- Knowledge of vacuum casting processes for reactive alloys.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently on difficult challenges.
- US Person (due to ITAR requirements).
- Willingness to support critical program milestones (extended hours/weekends when required).
Desired:
- Experience in single crystal (SX) or directionally solidified (DS) investment casting.
- Knowledge of cored turbine blade production.
- Experience within AS9100 aerospace manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with SLA printing for tooling.
- Prior experience at a high-growth tech or aerospace start-up.
