ABOUT THE CLIENT:
My client are a California-based globally recognised Gaming Studio, driven by a shared passion for gaming on a mission to build high-performing teams that create unforgettable experiences for players worldwide. Their projects span multiple platforms, from console to PC, and they are constantly pushing to deliver groundbreaking experiences that players will remember for years to come. They have a number of award-winning titles under our belt and are now on the lookout for a Brand Marketing Director to bring their titles on both console and PC to market.

THE BRAND MARKETING DIRECTOR ROLE:

  • You will play a pivotal role in the development and execution of innovative marketing strategies to bring their portfolio of games to market. You will lead the marketing team and collaborate across internal teams including Product, Creative Services, Community, and PR—as well as external partners to drive brand growth and awareness.
  • You will be responsible for leading all marketing strategies and driving all product marketing initiatives, including branding, advertising, paid media, social media, and influencer marketing for our diverse portfolio of games.
  • You will review and approve go-to-market strategies to ensure alignment with product launches, content updates, and promotional campaigns as well as developing and executing comprehensive brand strategies, from concept through execution, encompassing brand identity, target audience segmentation, competitive market analysis, and product positioning.
  • You will ensure that consumer messaging and creative positioning remain consistent and on-brand across the entire portfolio.
  • You will also be accountable for analysing and optimising marketing activities using advanced tools, measuring the financial impact of campaigns, and ensuring that all marketing efforts align with strategic and financial objectives.
  • As the budget owner, you will manage and track all spending, ensuring alignment with the Pandamp;L.

BRAND MARKETING DIRECTOR – ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, brand and marketing-related fields
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in brand management and traditional/digital marketing
  • Must have 8+ years managing direct reports
  • Experienced as Pandamp;L owner and ability to allocate and track marketing budgets to total spend
  • Experience with working with licensed and original intellectual properties
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work cross-functionally with internal and external partners
  • Enthusiasm and positive team work ethic is a must
  • Microsoft Office Windows / Office (Outlook, Word, Excel); CRM / Email; PowerPoint; Adobe Photoshop skills required.
