We have a strong commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion both for ourselves and our clients. We are committed Level 1 Disability Confident Employers.

As part of our employee onboarding process, every recruiter undergoes diversity and inclusion training to equip them with the right knowledge and understanding to assist our clients’ objectives for diversity hiring. We can assist clients with the supply of talent in tandem with internal diversity goals and initiatives. In addition to this we took part in Diversity in Recruitment training with Jo Major. We learnt about equality, diversity and inclusion explained, the business case for D&I, understanding candidate identity and understanding privilege. Allowing us to know about the full recruitment journey, the benefits and how we should take our time to make unbiased decisions.
Every consultant at Searchability sources talent without prejudice, discrimination or bias. First, we put our adverts into Gender Bias Decoder, to ensure that no dominating gender stereotype phrases are being used. Research also shows a distinct male bias in adverts for senior positions, which is the reason for the gender pay gap, as female employees are discouraged from higher-level positions in the tech industry. Therefore, by removing gender bias from job adverts you can help to support gender diversity goals.
